Alejandra is an interdisciplinary designer originally from El Salvador and raised in the Midwest. Driven by an innate curiosity about how products and people interact, she explores how design influences behavior, evokes emotion, and enhances daily life. These observations sparked her passion for CMF design and how emotional nuance can elevate the user experience. Her creative process is guided by empathy and authenticity, designing solutions that align with user needs and values.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in industrial design at Kansas State University and previously studied abroad at ELISAVA in Barcelona, where she gained exposure to branding, packaging, and graphic design. An introspective and thoughtful designer, she thrives on small teams where diversity and collaboration drive problem-solving. Outside of design, she enjoys music, running, travel, art, & coffee.
